About Ohuhu.info
Ohuhu.info is a simple, no-nonsense fan-made guide to navigating the colorful (and sometimes confusing) world of Ohuhu markers.
This website is not the official Ohuhu website. We do have affiliate links to Ohuhu which give you a discount and pays for our coffee.
Ohuhu is a trademark of its respective owner. For the official website, visit ohuhu.com.

If you've ever wondered things like:
  “Which set has this color?”
  “Which colors am i missing?”
“Can I get a swatch sheet for my sets?”
“What does this code even mean?”
“Will these two markers actually blend nicely?”
…you're exactly why this site exists.

Ohuhu markers are great, but the ecosystem can get messy:
Sets overlap, codes change, some colors show up in unexpected places and finding good blends can take a lot of testing.
Ohuhu.info is built to make all of that easier. It's basically a reference tool for people who like knowing exactly what they're working with.

What you'll find here
- All marker sets, in one place
Browse through Ohuhu sets without jumping between product pages. See what's included, compare sets, and figure out what you're missing (or don't need to buy twice).

- Complete color overview
Every color has its own profile, including: current code (like BG011, R50, etc.), color name, older codes & which sets include it.

- Color groups that make sense
Colors are grouped in a way that actually helps, by family and saturation, so you can quickly find similar shades instead of guessing.

How to use:
- Select your color set(s)
All available Ohuhu colors in this set / these sets are shown. Ordered by family (alphabetically, top to bottom), saturation (ascending, top to bottom), then by brightness (ascending, left to right).
You can also create your own set by typing color codes (old or new) in the custom set input field, comma separated. Don't forget to check the checkbox :)

- View colors that are included or not included in selected sets
Choose whether to display colors that are included in your selected sets or those that are not. This makes it easy to spot gaps in your collection.
This also helps when comparing one set with another (for example, exclude "Honolulu 120" and search for "Honolulu 168" to see the difference between the two sets).
Pro tip: Combine this with the search filter (for example, "Honolulu") to quickly see which colors you're missing from specific series.

- Filter by color family
All Ohuhu colors in this family are shown. Ordered by saturation (ascending, top to bottom), then by brightness (ascending, left to right).

- Filter by saturation
All colors with similar saturation are shown. Ordered by color family (alphabetically, top to bottom), then by brightness (ascending, left to right).

- Filter by text
(default: match if color includes text, "exact" checkbox changes behaviour to exact matching)
All colors with a matching element (code, old code, name, or set) are displayed. You can enter multiple search terms separated by commas.

- Click on a color
The details (color code, name, old color code, and the sets in which this color is included) are displayed.
Suggestions for matching colors, based on color theory (e.g. monochromatic, analogous and split-complementary), within your selected set(s) are also displayed.

- Add to favourites
By clicking the star in the color detail view, you add the color to your favourites. You can filter by favourites with the "Favourites" button on the top right.
Your favourites are not saved (a page refresh resets favourites).

- Save
If you wish to save or share your selection, filters and favourites, click the "Copy" button on the top right of the page to copy the link to your clipboard.

Note: Filters are combined, so when filtering, other filters still apply (sets, family, saturation, favourites).

- Download a swatch sheet
You can download a swatch sheet for your selected set(s) by clicking the "Print" button on the top right. It will open a new page, allowing you to save to PDF.
Here you have the options for Landscape/Portrait, to include backgrounds or not and your papersize (works best on computer).

So, what do these codes mean?
Color family: The letters in the code show the color group it belongs to. (YG610)
Saturation: The first digit after the color group (0-9) shows the color saturation. Colors on the same level can blend together fairly well. (YG610)
Brightness: The last 1-2 digits represent the brightness of the color. The larger the number, the darker the color. (YG610)

Note:
The palette shows the Ohuhu colors as displayed in the Color Index on the Official ohuhu.com website.
Colors may look a little different on your screen and on paper.
